Paintings: Abstract
I use various media but most commonly these paintings are done in acrylic paint on either paper or canvas.
My particular approach is to do a series of small works, working on as many as ten or twelve at a time, and then select the most interesting to be make larger, sometimes changing little but often totally transformed into completely different end result.
Unlike representational painting which is involved in reacting to the observed scene, abstract art is a reaction to the reality within.
